Invitations have been invited for IIT Ropar Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 by the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar. This invitation is for the master’s degree holders and those who will be selected for the fellowship will work on the TBRL-DRDO sponsored project entitled “High-Speed Impact Dynamic and Deformation Analysis of Target Projectile System using Image Correlation Technique”. IIT Ropar Junior Research Fellowship 2020 eligibility details are given below.
The position is temporary and is available immediately. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program as per the existing institute rules.

Those applicants who will be shortlisted will be called for the interview. After being shortlisted no TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview. To attend the interview shortlisted candidates will be communicated by email other than that no other way will be entertained for communicating the details to the candidates.
eligibility for IIT Ropar Junior Research Fellowship 2020
To apply for the fellowship the applicant must be a holder of a master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a Master’s degree in Research in Engineering/Technology (in Mech Engg. Or Aero Space Engg.). Candidates must have obtained at least 70 percent marks or 7.5 CGPA out of 10 in their Master’s with a valid GATE score.
OR
Exceptional candidates having a B.Tech/B.E. degree (in Mech Eng. or Aerospace Eng), with at least 75 percent or 8 CGPA out of 10 and valid GATE score can also apply.
