The main aim of the scholarship is to give financial assistance to those who belong to economically backward families. This scholarship will help them achieve their dreams and study further. What Is The Benefit Of Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship

For UG Arts and UG Commerce, the scholarship amount is Rs 1000. For PG (other professional level courses) the scholarship amount is Rs 1500. For UG Science the scholarship amount Rs 1500.

For PG Arts and PG Commerce, the scholarship amount is Rs 2000 and for PG Science the scholarship amount is Rs 2500. For Non-Net, M.phil, Non-Net Ph.D. the scholarship amount is Rs 5000 to 8000. For UG English, PG English and other professional courses (AICTE) approved (Arts) the amount is Rs 5000. For UG Polytechnic the scholarship amount is Rs 1500. For UG-Medical Degree and Diploma Courses, the scholarship amount is Rs 5000 and Rs 1500 respectively. This will be the Latest Scholarship for Indian students 2020.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria For Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship

The scheme benefits the students of class 11^th and 12^th.

It will also benefit undergraduate students pursuing engineering, medical, technical, and professional courses.

It will benefit students at the postgraduate level by pursuing a general degree course.

It will benefit the students pursuing M.Phil Courses and Doctoral courses (Non-Net Junior research fellowship and Net lecturership.

Student’s family income must not be more than Rs 2,50,000.

For HS level the eligibility must be a student scoring 75 percent marks in aggregate in Madhyamik Pariksha.

For Diploma level candidates must secure a minimum of 75 percent marks excluding marks secured in any optional or elective subject.

For UG Level the minimum percentage secured must be 75 percent marks in the H.S exam that is conducted by W.B council of H.S education/Madrasha Siksha Parishad.

A separate merit list will be prepared for UG courses of different subjects in science, arts, and commerce.

At PG Level the candidates must be graduates securing a minimum of 53 percent marks in the honors. The marks obtained in honors will be subject to decide the criteria for the award of the PG level Scholarship. This is Latest Scholarship for Indian students 2020.

Documents Required With Offline Submission

The documents required for offline submission is

1. 2 copy of passport size photograph
2. Income certificate affidavit
3. Copy of last mark sheet
4. Income certificate
5. Residential Proof
6. Copy of bank account first page.

Payment should be made through direct beneficiary transfer only. The bank details of applicants should fulfill things like A/C No. Bank Name, IFSC code of Bank which is mandatory.

Terms and Conditions

Students must follow the given terms and conditions properly to avoid the cancellation of an application.

It is to be noted that while applying for the scholarship, all students are required to submit an affidavit written on a non-judicial stamp paper valued Rs 10 or more.

Also, the affidavit should be sworn by the parents or guardian before a notary public or a first-class magistrate declaring the family income from all the sources during the financial year (1^st April to 31^st March) of applying for the scholarship.
